The Super Bowl is played on a Sunday evening in the United States. In February, Chiang Mai is 12 hours ahead of New York and 15 hours ahead of Los Angeles, so the usual 6:30 pm Eastern kick-off lands at 06:30 on Monday morning in Thailand. The game, the half-time show and the trophy all happen over breakfast, and it is all over by about 10:00.
